On 16th August 2003, Aibee Lee celebrated
her eighty-fifth birthday with a small group
of friends and family. A larger gathering had
been planned but she only agreed to a very
small gathering with a modest lunch menu.
The traditional Chinese birthday noodles
dish was the main course - a long life suggested by the long uncut lengths of
the noodles themselves!
